A new beginning

A lot has happened in the past two weeks.

I left my freelance writing gigs with the Metro News London and the Sports Xpress London for a full-time editor/multimedia journalist position with Sun Media. I am now the editor of two new weekly community newspapers: the K-W Review and the Guelph Review.

I've left London to move to Kitchener-Waterloo to begin this new chapter in my life. I had a great year in London. Since moving to the city, I've played semi-professional baseball, embarked on several exciting writing opportunities, hosted a television show, and had my first novel published.

The city will always hold a special place for me.

I am really excited for this new opportunity; both papers are new publications, so I can have a blank slate creatively. I will post the electronic editions of both papers starting this week.

My new, extremely busy schedule means that I won't be able to post any weekly videos for the time being. However, the websites for both papers go live in June and I will post weekly video content there and include the links on my website.

Also, I am currently filming a second season of Urban Self Defense that will air in the summer.
