November Update

October was an extremely busy month for me at The Weather Network. The highlight of the month for me was undoubtedly Halloween. I dressed up on-camera as Tom Cruise from Top Gun (the beach volleyball scene). It was a very busy day with live Stormwatch coverage of a Colorado Low pushing through Ontario.

I was live every 10 minutes all afternoon and I introduced each segment with a quote or a description from Top Gun. I even sang a few bars of "You've Lost that Loving Feeling" by the Righteous Brothers for one segment. Lots of fun.

Here's my November schedule. Of course, depending on what area of the country you live in, you may not be able to see me at these times as TWN runs five different feeds: British Columbia, Alberta, GTA, Atlantic and National (all times are ET).

October Update

Autumn is now here and it's hard to believe that the calendar has switched to October already. And of course, October means playoff baseball which is my favourite sports time of the year. To get you in the mood for postseason baseball, why not grab yourself a copy of my novel 60'6": Balls, Strikes, and Baseball Mortality?

My September at The Weather Network was busy and it involved me outside covering a storm in Southern Ontario, which included torrential rains, moderate winds and some minor flooding. Even though I got absolutely soaked, I can't wait for the opportunity to be outside covering storms again.

Also, I was able to return to my hometown of Oshawa, ON for the GTA morning show. My segments included a special appearance by my grandparents.

Here's my October schedule. Of course, depending on what area of the country you live in, you may not be able to see me at these times as TWN runs five different feeds: British Columbia, Alberta, GTA, Atlantic and National (all times are EST).

October 2, 3, and 4 - 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

October 5 and 6 - 4 p.m. to 9 p.m.

October 8 and 11 - 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

October 12, 13, and 14 - 4 p.m. to 9 p.m.

October 18 - 6:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.

October 19 and 20 - 4 p.m. to 9 p.m.

October 23, 24, and 25 - 2 p.m. to 7 p.m.

October 26 and 27 - 4 p.m. to 9 p.m.
