September Update - CrossFit Video and More Work

I'm mostly likely in the minority with this opinion, but I am actual looking forward to the cooler spring season (but not much cooler--if every day could be 25 degrees, I would be a happy man).

The city of Toronto has seen over 30 days of temperatures over 30 degrees this spring and summer and, for me, it's just a little bit too much. Especially since I play a lot of tennis. Tennis in over 30 degrees is not very enjoyable. Plus, later this month, I will be playing in my tennis club's season-ending singles championship.

So, cooler, fresher air is definitely encouraged.

I was able to cull together a selection of clips from my sideline reporting and athlete interview work at The CrossFit Games in Carson, California.

There has been a change to my schedule at Global as well. In addition to my regular duties, I am now responsible for the 6 p.m. weather updates for Global Halifax and Global New Brunswick.

Also, I will be working on the morning show in Toronto for five days in September (September 8, 9, 12, 13, 14) instead of the evening newscasts.

So, here's my schedule for September (all times local).

Wednesday - 6 p.m. newscast for the Maritimes, 10 p.m. for Winnipeg, Regina, and Saskatoon

Thursday -  6 p.m. newscast for the Maritimes, 10 p.m. for Winnipeg, Regina, and Saskatoon

Friday - 6 p.m. newscast for the Maritimes, 10 p.m. for Winnipeg, Regina, and Saskatoon, 11 p.m. for Toronto, Montreal and the Maritimes

Saturday - 10 p.m. newscast for Winnipeg, Regina, and Saskatoon and 11 p.m. for Toronto, Montreal and the Maritimes.

Sunday -  10 p.m. newscast for Winnipeg, Regina, and Saskatoon and 11 p.m. for Toronto, Montreal and the Maritimes.
