March Update - Vacation and Writing

I wrote a novella a few months ago about golf. Specifically about a fictional golfer named Mark Madden who wins the U.S. Open and then tries to navigate the trappings of fame and celebrity.

The story is divided into seven parts and I've been posting a new selection every Monday. Yesterday, I posted Part 5. At the same link, you can find Parts 1 through 4 if you've missed anything thus far and need to catch up.

In addition to posting this new piece of fiction last month, I was also able to take a little time off and enjoy a week-long vacation in Puerto Rico. Sun, sand, salt water, pina coladas and, most importantly tennis.

The resort had a tennis centre on the grounds. I brought my racket, the weather was great; all I needed were people to play with.

Enter my new friends from Minnesota.

I ended up playing 10 hours of tennis with these guys over 5 days. And they invited me back to their tournament next year--which I hope to attend if my schedule permits. As a thank you for their hospitality, I gave them a couple of copies of my baseball novel (which are still available for purchase).

With the weather warming up, hopefully I can play tennis here at home over the next few weeks.

Also, be sure to follow me on Twitter and Facebook.

Here's my on-air schedule at Global for March (all times local).
