December Update - More East, Less West

I mentioned in last month's update that I am now presenting the weather on a new station, Global News Durham, which is appropriately based in Durham Region in Southern Ontario. It's my hometown station and it's a blast to do the weather a little closer to where I grew up.

Here's a chat from earlier in the month with Global News Durham's anchor, Lindsay Dunn, where we discuss baseball, biking, and Bob Seger.

As the title of this post alludes, my schedule has undergone some more changes that officially take effect this month.

During the week, I will no longer be presenting the weather in the prairies (Winnipeg, Regina, and Saskatoon). Instead, my focus will be on Eastern markets. That means that I will be on the 11 p.m. newscast Wednesday through Sunday in Toronto, Montreal, Halifax and Fredericton.

However, I will still be delivering forecasts in the prairies on weekends.

So, my updated scheduled is as follows (all times local):

Wednesday through Friday - 5 p.m. newscast for Durham, 11 p.m. for Toronto, Montreal, Halifax and Fredericton.

Saturday and Sunday - 10 p.m. newscast for Winnipeg, Regina, and Saskatoon and 11 p.m. for Toronto, Montreal, Halifax and Fredericton.
