August Update - Up Close and Personal with Tornado Damage

Not to be the bearer of bad news, but the summer is basically half over. Where does the time go? I've been trying to spend as much time as possible outside enjoying the warmth and the sun.

The field reporter position for The Weather Network's national morning show allows me to travel to different towns in Southern Ontario and meet new people and also to see the effect of severe storms firsthand.

Case in point, the EF1 tornado that hit Grand Bend at the end of July. I spent consecutive mornings in the town reporting on the damage and some of it was absolutely incredible. Check out this picture:

Luckily no one was home when the storm hit.

Here's my August schedule. Of course, depending on what area of the country you live in, you may not be able to see me at these times as TWN runs five different feeds: British Columbia, Alberta, GTA, Atlantic and National (all times are ET).
