Here's a look at my May schedule at The Weather Network. Of course, depending on what area of the country you live in, you may not be able to see me at these times as TWN runs five different feeds: British Columbia, Alberta, GTA, Atlantic and National.
Also, for those of you in the GTA, I have a book signing for my novel 60'6": Balls, Strikes, and Baseball Mortality at Chapters in Oakville (Oakville Town Centre , 320 North Service Rd W.) on May 11 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Come on out and say Hello!

April Update
I just finished my first full month on-air at The Weather Network. It was a very busy month and I continued to learn a lot about how to present weather on-camera.

I'm feeling very comfortable on-camera and more confident with both my weather and Canadian geography knowledge (which plays a big role in our presentation!).
The highlight of the month was being sent to Ottawa to cover a snowstorm on March 18 and 19. It was really enjoyable to have a chance to report on-location from different sites in the Nation's Capital.
I reported live every 20 minutes from 5 a.m. to just after 11 a.m. on the Tuesday. It was a whirlwind trip. We got to to Ottawa around 9:30 p.m. on Monday night, did a quick live report, and then drove to the hotel. I went to bed around 10:30 and was up at 3:45 a.m. Tuesday morning to start the day.
Though it was a very tiring two days, I enjoyed every minute of it and I hope to do some more on-location reporting during storm coverage in the future.
Before I post my air times for April, I just wanted to let those of you residing in the GTA that I will be at the Oshawa Centre Chapters on April 11 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. signing copies of my novel 60'6": Balls, Strikes, and Baseball Mortality.
